Everyone knows the No Smoking symbol on an airplane. The toilet symbol in an airport. The handicapped symbol in a parking lot. These marks are universal, no matter your language or location.
That’s the inspiration behind Design Language. Each symbol represents terms and phrases we use every day in our creative work. They are not so much icons, but rather a visual language we can use to communicate what we do and what we create.
We put hours of thought and effort into each symbol to make them simple, clean and beautiful. Our hope is that whether you use them for your presentations, your portfolio or elsewhere, they will help you tell the story of your work.
We don’t expect these humble marks to be as famous as a toilet. In fact, we recommend using them with labels to communicate your message. These symbols are simply meant to elevate your work and help others understand it.
At least, that’s our vision for Design Language. But you’re designers. Let’s see what you decide to do with them.

FAQ
What's included in the package?
The Design Language pack includes 48 symbols in vector format. That means one big Adobe Illustrator file with all symbols, and 48 separate files as SVG. You can easily scale them, export as PNG, JPG or whatever you need.
Is this a Semplice feature?
Nope. You can add these icons to your Semplice website like you would anything else for your design, but they are not built into Semplice. The symbol pack is separate from Semplice and can be used for web work, print work or anywhere.
Can I use them commercially?
Absolutely. Your license allows you to use them in personal and commercial projects. You are not allowed to resell them as they are. Please view the license file included in your download.
Do these symbols have any connection to the Illuminati?
We can neither confirm nor deny whether these symbols have hidden meanings related to a secret society, either real or fictitious.
