At Semplicelabs know that you expect privacy and security when it comes to information that personally identifies you and allows you to be individually contacted (Below we refer this either as Personal Information, Information or Data.).

What information we collect
For visitors of our website we collect anonymous and aggregated information on which pages have been viewed so we can improve our website from a performance standpoint. We collect this data with Google Analytics (see more on Datastorage & Cookies below)
For subscribers of our newsletter we only collect your first name and your email address after you've successfully subsribed to our list and confirmed your subscription to make sure it's really you.
For buyers of our product, we collect basic information such as your email, full name, address and billing information which we're lawfully required to collect in order to do a business transaction with you. Your email address is collected so we can send you the requested product. We do NOT record any credit card information or bank details. In addition, for owners of our product who activate their license with their email address and individual license key (to receive future updates) we store your domain name in connection to your license key and email address.
Legal Basis
The data we ask you for is only collected due to contractual reasons. In order for us to provide you a service & product we must ask you for some personal information.
Use of Data
The data we collect is only used for the following:
a.) We collect your email address to send you the requested product & order confirmation.
b.) We collect your email address to send you important updates of the requested product. We only send you product updates if you've specifically told us so during the checkout.
c.) We collect your name & billing address to fulfil our legal and financial obligations as well as send you an order confirmation email so you can fulfil yours and have it for your records.
d.) We collect your domain name and personal license key which we generated for you after you've successfully activated the product to receive further updates from us. We do this so we can prevent any misuse of your personal Semplice license.
Your personal information is not shared or sold with any other company. Your personal information is only shared for legal reasons with the government (simply put, to file our taxes). We do not run ads on our website.
Cookies
We use only a few cookies on our website to improve your experience. Cookies basically record anonymous session information on the device you're using to access our website. You can easily remove or block cookies via your browser preferences and our website would still function as it is. We use cookies to improve our overall sites performance, such as cookies from Google Analytics, WebType, Bento and Convertkit. We also use cookies to make sure that if you add something to our shopping cart, it would stay there in case you want to come back to our website.

Datastorage
Semplicelabs GmbH only stores the most necessary information. We use third party vendors and hosting partners in order to provide a secure infrastructure and environment. Below you can find a list of services we use to collect & store our data, some of which is anonymous and some includes your personal information.
Google Analytics - We use Google Analytics to collect and store anynymous data about our website traffic so we can improve the experience and performance of our website. Google Analytics collects the most common (anonymous) information such as your IP address, the domain you've requested, the name of your internet provider (depending how your ISP is configured), the time length you spent on our website, the time you visited our website, the individual pages you've accessed, the website that referred us to our website (if thats the case), your geographic location (country/city) based on your IP address as well as the operating you're using (which includes the browser software)
All this information is stored and collected by Google. We do not store or process that information ourselves but use it to improve our website.
Bento - We use Bento to collect anymous data about our website traffic so we can improve the experience in the future. Bento is collecting the same information as Google (see above) but we use it to cross reference the information for better understanding.
SendOwl - We use SendOwl as a payment gateway. SendOwl basically helps us facilitate the sale between you the customer, and us as the seller. SendOwl collects your personal information (name, address) and we use SendOwl to access it and make sure to provide you with the product you've purchased.
PayPal - We use PayPal as a payment gateway that enables you to use your PayPal account to purchase a product from us.
Stripe - We use Stripe as a payment gateway that enables you to use your credit card to purchase a product from us. We do not store your credit card information.
Amazon Hosting - We use Amazon AWS Services to host our website. We do not use AWS to store any of your personal information. Our website only consists of static marketing content since we're not providing a hosted service with Semplice.
Retention and Withdrawal
For newsletter subscriber: We only retain your name and email address as long as your subscription with us is active. You can unsubscribe at any time.
For customers: We retain your personal information only for contractual and legal reasons (for example, we are legally required to keep certain information on record for tax reasons)
Of course, at any time you can contact us and ask us for the deletion of your personal information and we do everything in our power (as legally possible) to delete data we've collected.

Protecting your information
The information we receive from you is protected against unauthorized access once we receive it. We limit the access to your information to employees who have a business reason for accessing it. When collecting financial information from you, we use secure socket layer software (SSL).
Disclosure
We will not sell or distribute your Personal Information except to provide products or services you have requested, when we have permission, or it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law. Business transfers If Semplicelabs, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, Personal Information would be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Semplicelabs may continue to use the Personal Information as set forth in this policy. In any case of this happening, you would be informed and have the option to opt out.
Amendments
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make major changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Website or sending you an email.
